Les Paul - RIP

The Torr were saddened to hear of the death of Les Paul this week.

Jon had this to say "Without Les, we'd still be recording a whole band in a room with one Microphone hanging from the ceiling in Mono - the man was a genius and without his invention, I simply couldnt work with music in the way that I do today."

Neil Berry added "Gutted, absolutely gutted. Saddest thing is that the news will wash away by tomorrow. A jazz legend still relevant today and responsible for the way we are able to record today... Goodbye Les, I'll miss you and your music. May you live on forever through it. Rest in peace."

The Torr offer their sincere condolences to his friends and family.
